Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – Game Drive
Your 3 Days Tanzania Family Safari begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After meeting your safari guide, you will drive towards Tarangire National Park, one of the most rewarding wildlife destinations in northern Tanzania.
As you enter the park, the safari adventure begins. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant population and impressive baobab trees. During your game drive, your family may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, monkeys and many different bird species.
The open landscapes of Tarangire make it an exciting destination for families, as wildlife can often be seen close to the safari road. Your guide will help children and adults learn about the animals, plants and ecosystems they encounter along the way.
You will stop for a picnic lunch at a designated area before continuing your afternoon game drive.
Later in the afternoon, you will leave Tarangire National Park and drive towards your accommodation in the Karatu or Mto wa Mbu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying the game drive and a picnic lunch, you will begin your journey back to Arusha. Depending on your onward travel arrangements, you can be dropped off at your hotel or another agreed location in Arusha.
